The workplaces for the İŞKUR Youth Program have been announced.
The evaluation process for the IŞKUR Youth Program has been completed, and the required documents have been requested from the students who got accepted into the program. The units in which our students will be employed have also been determined after careful consideration.

Staff Soccer Tournament Finals Day
The 2025–2026 Academic and Administrative Staff Soccer Tournaments have been concluded. The opening ceremony of the finals began with a minute’s silence in memory of our soldiers who have been martyred in a cargo plane crash that belonged to the Ministry of National Defense. We respectfully commemorate our martyrs and extend our heartfelt condolences to their families and loved ones.
13 teams and 156 players participated in the tournament, and it concluded with the Champion Support Services Team winning the championship. Team KG Var came in second place, and Team Boğazın Aslanları came in third.
We would like to thank all the players who competed in the tournament and the participants who shared our excitement throughout the event.

University Sports Excellence
Our university made its mark at the Turkish University Sports Federation Awards Night, held as part of the International University Sports Day at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University.

Archery Training and Finals Day of Archery Competitions
Our "Archery Training and Archery Competitions" program, organized by the Sports Branch Directorate of the Department of Health, Culture, and Sports, as part of the "Motivation Activities Program," has been completed successfully with the active participation of our academic and administrative staff.
At the end of the one-month Archery Training Program, the Archery Competitions concluded with a super final, followed by an award ceremony. Prizes have been presented to the winners by Ramazan Kesik, Head of the Department; Mesut Okur, Director of the Sports Branch; Mehmet Tunç, Director of Social Facilities, and Mehmet Şahin, Director of the Coordination Branch.
We congratulate all the trainees and contestants who participated in our training sessions and competitions, and wish them continued success in their future endeavors.

Archery Training Program Kicks Off
The Archery Training and Archery Competitions program, organized by the Sports Branch Directorate of the Department of Health, Culture, and Sports, as part of the "Motivation Activities Program” for our academic and administrative staff, has commenced with strong participation.

Our Student Ümit Akgün Represented Türkiye at the European Lifesaving Championship
Our student, Ümit Akgün, participated in the European Lifesaving Championship, held from 23–28 August 2025 in Szczecin, Poland, as part of the Turkish National Lifesaving Team organized by the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation.
This championship marked Türkiye’s first international competition in this discipline. Alongside Akgün,Zeynep Aydemir, Merve Kurt, Eda Çelik, Ahmet Özkan, Emre Karadağ, and Burak Yıldız from the Turkish national team took part in the event, which brought together over 300 athletes from various European countries.
Officials from the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation considered the team’s debut in this championship a valuable experience and congratulated the athletes on their performance. We proudly congratulate our student Ümit Akgün and wish him continued success in his sporting career.

Achievements of Our University Rowing Team at the European Masters Championship
Our students brought home 2 gold and 1 bronze medals at the European Masters Rowing Championships held in Bled, Slovenia.
Deniz Taşkın finished in 1st place in Men’s Double Sculls, 21–27 age category, while Furkan Başkan secured 3rd place. Deniz İpek Bardan finished in 1st place in the Women’s Lightweight Single Sculls category and became European Champion.
We congratulate our students on their outstanding achievements and wish them continued success in their sporting careers.

Interuniversity Raqball Tournament Hosted at Our University
Our university hosted the Interuniversity Raqball Tournament and brought together many students to experience one of the most prominent emerging sports recently. Athletes from different universities competed fiercely throughout the tournament; raqball delivered thrilling, high-intensity matches and drew strong interest from the spectators.
During this event, many students had the opportunity to experience and learn about this sport for the first time.

Our Badminton Team at Malatya İnönü University
Our university’s badminton team participated in the Interuniversity Badminton Championship, hosted at Malatya İnönü University by the Turkish University Sports Federation.
Our team won all of its group-stage matches and advanced to the final round undefeated as the group leader. In the final group, our team represented our university to the highest standard and earned promotion from the Regional League to the First League.

Our Student Ranks Second in Türkiye!
At the Interuniversity Kickboxing Turkish Championship, hosted by Balıkesir University between 8 and 11 April, our student Zeynep Cemre Akıllı reached the quarterfinals in the women’s K1 category in the 65 kg division, while our student Mustafa Berkay Er achieved second place in Türkiye in the men’s K1 category in the 51 kg division. We congratulate our athletes and wish them continued success.
