ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING TEMPORARY DORMITORY ACCOMMODATION FOR STUDENTS COMING FROM OUTSIDE ISTANBUL FOR THE YADYOK ENGLISH PROFICIENCY EXAM (BUEPT)

The explanations regarding the temporary dormitory stay of students coming from outside Istanbul for the YADYOK English Proficiency Exam (BUEPT), which will be be held on September 08 2025, are provided below:

Accommodation: Male students are planned to be accommodated in Kandilli Dormitory, and female students in Anadolu Hisarı Dormitory, subject to available quotas. However, changes may occur in the dormitories depending on the number of applicants. Placement information will be sent to our students via e-mail on Friday, September 5.

Accommodation Duration: Due to BUEPT, students coming from outside Istanbul will be able to stay in dormitories for one night.

Application Dates: Applications must be submitted between August 28 and September 3, 2025 (until 5:00 PM on September 3, 2025) through the Dormitories and Scholarships System (https://ybs.bogazici.edu.tr), using the "My Petitions" section and the subject line "Request for Temporary Dormitory Accommodation Due to BUEPT Exam"

Application Requirements: Applications submitted with a different subject line or after the specified date will not be considered.

Check-in and Check-out Times: Check-in to the dormitory will be no earlier than 10:00 AM on September 7, 2025. Check-out from the dormitory will be no later than 5:00 PM on September 8, 2025.

Bedding: One pillow, pillowcase, duvet, and sheet will be provided upon check-in.

Accommodation Fee: The fee for one night's accommodation is 500 TL.

Payment Information: The accommodation fee will be added to the system on September 5, 2025, and payment can be made via Garanti BBVA Bank online banking or ATM by selecting the Payment/Institution/University/Boğaziçi University/Dormitory Fee option and entering your student number.

Payment Requirement: Payment must be completed before entering the dormitory.

Notification of Placement Rights: Students who have been granted dormitory placement but do not intend to move in must provide notification prior to the placement date.

Refunds: Students who have paid for accommodation but do not check in and do not notify us of their withdrawal before the scheduled accommodation date will not receive a refund.
